Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Creating your account, listing your venue, publishing your events and photos — it’s all free, with no credit card. Everything you publish gets a quick review from our team, and you’re usually live within 24 to 48 hours.

So when do I pay?

Only if you choose to stand out: the subscription, or a one-off purchase for an event. Both are optional. Without them, your listing stays published and you receive your contacts as before: nothing is charged.

What can I pay for?

It depends on your activity. A venue can subscribe: its listings move up the feed, take turns in “Spotlight” and carry the “Certified” badge, and the events linked to it are included. An organiser spotlights each event one at a time, or takes the subscription, which includes them all: the event moves up the feed and sits at the top of “Upcoming events” until its last date. The prices for each activity are shown above.

Do I need a VAT number?

Yes, a valid VAT number is required to claim your venue. It’s verified automatically through the EU VIES service.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, for everything paid here on uagexplore.com: an invoice in your company’s name, with your VAT number, in your pro space after every payment. If you take out the subscription from the mobile app, the App Store or Google Play is the seller: the receipt comes from them, and that is who you ask for an invoice.

Why is it more expensive in the app?

Because Apple and Google take a commission on every purchase made in the app. Here on uagexplore.com, you pay the price shown above, and the invoice is in your company’s name.

Is there any commitment?

Without a subscription, none: you publish for free, with no minimum term. With the subscription you pick monthly or yearly; it renews automatically and you can cancel it whenever you like from your pro account — it then ends at the end of the period you have already paid for.

How many people will see my listing?

You’ll see for yourself: your dashboard shows the views and contacts your listing actually brings in, week after week. We’d rather hand you your own numbers than promise you ours. And since publishing is free, you can judge on the evidence before taking the subscription.
